The sprint to the holidays starts Saturday with Main Street Washington’s SNOW Blitz slate of events. At 5 pm the Washington Public Library will host this year’s Washington Community Theaters live radio Christmas Plays “Sherlock Holmes Christmas” and “Father Knows Best Christmas”. KCII spoke with Director Shirley Gilmore to learn more about the people putting on the shows, “I’ve had several that have never been on stage, at all, and then so this is different, and I’ve had others that have been on stage many times, but the radio show is really different. It’s just an adjustment, but it’s fun. You get to know lots of different people, from all areas of their lives.”  You’re invited to enjoy the show through the windows of the library and tune in to the live broadcast on AM and FM KCII from 5-6 pm.
