After a successful 2023 season, several new names are listed on the pages of the football record books at Mid-Prairie High School.

Senior receiver Dylan Henry is named in the top 10 of three categories. His 76 yard pick six against Davis County is the fourth longest in the history of the program. Henry finished his season and career with seven touchdown catches, sixth most for a single year and ninth most for a career in school history. Henry was an All-District selection this season.

Junior quarterback Brady Weber is top 10 in 11 different categories. He tied the school record for most total touchdowns in a single game with six, two weeks in a row, once against Albia on Senior Night, the other in the first round of the playoffs against Northeast Goose Lake. His six scores through the air against the Blue Demons also tied a school record. He threw for 264 yards against Albia, eighth most for a Golden Hawk QB in a game, and his 80 yard connection for score to Kaden Kos on the first play from scrimmage against the Blue Demons was the sixth longest scoring throw in Mid-Prairie history. Weber’s 2023 total of 20 touchdown throws sets a new school record. His 1,497 yards through the air are second most for the program as were his 117 completions this year. Weber is sixth on the career touchdown pass list with those 20 scores, his 1,571 total yards are the ninth highest total and his 121 completions tie him for seventh. Weber was an All-District selection this season.

Sophomore running back Hudson Ehrenfelt broke into the top 10 in three categories. His five touchdowns in a win over West Burlington Notre Dame were tied for sixth most for a single contest in school history. His 1,336 yards on the ground are the eighth highest total in program history for a season and his 16 total touchdowns are ninth most. Ehrenfelt was an All-District selection this season and was awarded District Offensive MVP.

Sophomore Kaden Kos has his name in the top 10 in three categories. His 80 yard touchdown catch against Albia is the sixth longest scoring reception in Mid-Prairie history. Kos finished with six total touchdown grabs this year, eighth most. On the defensive side, Kos finished with 114 tackles, the 10th most stops for a season in program history. Kos was an All-District selection this season.

Mid-Prairie finished the year with a 5-5 overall record.
