The Johnson County Emergency Management Agency, along with Two Rivers Emergency Management is in the process of revising and updating its hazard mitigation plan. To do so, they will be holding a kick-off meeting on Monday, December 4 at 7 p.m.

The hazard mitigation plan will assess natural hazards’ risks and vulnerabilities to each community in Johnson County, as well as provide recommendations to increase their resiliency. The aim is to protect property and those who live, work, and conduct business in the County and its communities.

All residents, businesses, community neighbors, and other interested parties are invited to attend the kick-off meeting, which will be hosted virtually on Zoom. To join the meeting on December 4, click here.
