The Hillcrest Academy boys and girls basketball teams take the court tonight in a Southeast Iowa Superconference road doubleheader at Louisa-Muscatine. The Raven boys remain unbeaten at 4-0 after a win at arch rival Lone Tree Tuesday 75-57. Junior guard Seth Ours led a quartet of Ravens in double figures with 29 points. Rowan Miller added 13, Mason Bender 12 and Phoenix Anderson 11. On the season, Hillcrest scores 65 points per game and gives up 38, shooting 46% from the field, 35% from distance and 57% at the line with 33 boards, 20 assists, 13 steals and nine turnovers per game. Individual leaders include Ours at 23 points per night, Miller with seven assists and three steals and Anderson, Bender and Bryce Bailey all at three boards per outing.

Louisa-Muscatine is 2-2 this year after a 67-41 win over Highland on Tuesday in Letts. The Falcons were led by a 36 point night from Ty Northup. On the year, L-M is scoring and giving up 59 points per game, shooting 39% from the floor, 27% from three and 48% at the line with 25 boards, 12 assists, 16 steals and 13 turnovers. Nothrup is the leader with 23 points, seven boards and three assists per game. These two teams split a season ago, each winning on the other’s home floor, the Ravens 81-67 and the Falcons 47-46.

The girls contest features a 2-3 Hillcrest team who fell to Lone Tree on the road Tuesday 58-14. Claire Withrow and Malia Yoder each scored six points, Delaney Shaw had 10 boards. On the year, the Ravens score 37 per night and give up 42, shooting 27% from the field, 26% from deep and 53% from the line with 34 boards, nine assists, 11 steals and 21 turnovers per game. Individual leaders per game include Withrow at 16 points, Shaw at 11 boards, and Yoder with four steals and three assists.

The Louisa-Muscatine girls are also 2-3 this year. They came up short against Highland Tuesday 31-21. They average 31 points per game and give up 36, shooting 33% from the floor, 47% from three and 44% from the line with 23 rebounds, three assists, five steals and 17 turnovers per game. Individual Falcon leaders per night include Hannah Kissell with 15 points and two steals, Bailey Runnells with five rebounds and Daisy Cole at two assists. The Falcons have won six straight in the series including 45-35 and 50-23 victories last season.

Action gets underway tonight in Letts with the girls game tipping at 6p.m.
