Highland Middle School and High School students are bringing the Christmas spirit to their community with a Winter Fine Arts Concert on Monday.
Beginning at 7 p.m. in the High School Gymnasium, the concert features both vocal and band performances from sixth through twelfth-grade students. It will feature more than two dozen holiday favorites, like Jolly Old Saint Nicholas, Let It Snow!, and Frosty the Snowman.
The sixth-grade band kicks things off, followed by the seventh and eighth-grade band, jazz band, high school concert band, middle school choir, and the high school choir. The concert culminates with a performance of Carol of the Bells by a combined choir. There will also be solos from Marley VanSchoyck, Grace Bombei, Henry Teesdale, Aaron Vercande, Wyatt Richardson, Alexa Hahn, and Hailey Plank.
The Highland Winter Fine Arts Concert is under the direction of Jennifer McClenahan and Andrew McDonald.
