The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls wrestling team takes the mat at Tim Grady Gymansium in Wellman Monday for Senior Night when they host a River Valley Conference quadrangular with Anamosa, West Liberty and Wilton. The Hawks enter the night with a 4-3 dual record after winning two of three at a quad last week at Anamosa, taking down Camanche and Maquoketa, but falling to the home Blue Raiders. Mid-Prairie is led by Austyn Sexton and Ellie Brenneman, each with 19 victories this season. Ashlee Farrier, Mardie Berry, Ellie Callahan and Sam Stacey all have double digit wins this year.

West Liberty comes in unbeaten at 6-0 this year after sweeping duals over Cascade, West Branch and Tipton Monday. The Comets are led this year by Dionni Garcia-Vazquez at 140lbs with a 22-1 overall record. The Hawks beat the Comets head to head last year 36-27.

Wilton is 4-1 this dual season after beating Bellevue on Monday. Wins leader for the Beavers this year is Audrey Cummings at 100lbs with an 18-2 record.

Anamosa is 9-8 this season after sweeping a quad with Camanche, Maquoketa and the Golden Hawks last Monday. The Blue Raiders are led by Addison Appelhans at 140lbs and Hadley Frater at 145lbs, each with 22 wins.

Tonight’s event will also serve as a Senior Night recognition for the Golden Hawk trio of Gabi Robertson, Ellie Brenneman and Sam Stacey. Action starts tonight at 5:30p.m. At Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman.
