After 16 weeks of studying, tests, and physical training, seven area law enforcement officials graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy Classes 311 and 312.

These were Louisa County Deputy Justin Walker, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy Brendon Lunsford, Henry County Deputy Logan Bass, Johnson County Deputies Andrew Mascher and Joseph Voyles, and Fairfield Police Officers Dylan Fury and Braeden Nielsen.

In addition to his graduation, Louisa County Deputy Walker has also completed his field training and certification as a School Resource Deputy. He began at the Columbus Community School District earlier this week. Officer Nielsen for the Fairfield Police Department also received recognition as a Lieutenant for his class at the academy.

The seven were honored at a graduation ceremony in Johnston on Friday, December 15.
