The WACO Warriors came up short to undefeated North Linn Friday night 56-42 at home in boys’ basketball. After trailing 19-10 in the first quarter, WACO’s deficit grew to 11 points by halftime and 19 points by the end of the third period.

Senior Colton Leichty scored 13 points to lead the Warriors, but no other player was in double-figure scoring for WACO as they fall to 5-3. The Warriors are now off until they travel to take on Louisa-Muscatine on January 2nd.
