At their last meeting, the newest member of the Washington City Council was sworn in. Patrick Morgan has been sworn in as the First Ward representative. Morgan replaces Bethany Glinsmann; Glinsmann had served on the Washington City Council since April of 2022 after she won the special election vote for Ward 1.
