The KCII listening area spent much of the day Thursday in a  winter weather advisory. The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities issued a Winter Weather Advisory through midnight Thursday for Washington and Johnson Counties. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches were recorded. Bridges, overpasses, and untreated pavement saw slushy accumulation and patchy slick spots that impacted the evening commute.
