A celebration of life for 99-year-old Clara Gingerich of Kalona, formerly of Iowa City will be held Monday, January 8th at 11:30a.m. at the First Mennonite Church in Iowa City. Burial will be held prior to the service at 10a.m. at the South Gingerich Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 7th from 2-4p.m. at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for the Crowded Closet, University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital and First Mennonite Church.
