Washington Demon wrestling earned another dual victory at home last night, defeating the WACO Warriors 66-12. Junior Bryer Billingsly got things started for Washington by getting a pin at 144 pounds, and he was followed with the same in short order by senior Lane Schrock at 150 lbs; senior Chase Greiner at 157; freshman Mark Chenoweth at 165; freshman Greyson Hartman at 215; freshman Joseph Schreiber at 106; sophomore Caden Greiner at 126; and junior Aaron Boone at 138.

The Demons fell in its other dual of the night, losing 40-36 to Southeast Conference rival Fort Madison. Despite Schrock winning a 3-0 decision and Hartman, Caden Greiner and 175-lbs freshman Blaine Rees all getting pins, Washington still dropped their first conference dual of the season. Schreiber also won by technical knockout, while junior Nate Edmonds won a 9-7 decision at 113.

Juniors Gage Samo and Louden Huisenga had pins for WACO at 113 and 190, respectively, against the Demons. In a 59-15 loss to Fort Madison, Huisenga won a 6-4 decision, while Samo and 126-lbs senior John Mclaughlin had pins. Both the Warriors and Washington will now head to the Gary Curtis Invitational tomorrow at Highland High School in Riverside.
