The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk archery team has the Solon bullseye and 3D tournaments in their crosshairs today. The Hawks have been off since a trip to Ottumwa December 16th. In their last action, the high school Hawks were team runners-up in 3D, led on the boys side by Elijah Statler in third and Johnathan Pickard in ninth. For the girls it was Ava Miller in fifth. Bullseye leaders included Statler in fifth and Pickard sixth for the boys while Averi Janecek was third for the girls and Morgyn Nafziger 10th.

For the middle school archers, they were team runners-up in bullseye and 3D. Individual girls bullseye leaders included Lael Seale second, Fiona McClellan seventh and Mya Brenneman eighth. For the boys Gavin Luers was fifth, Nickolas Kelley ninth and Easton Gorsch 10th. In 3D, Noah Coblentz was boys runner-up and Preston Ford was sixth, for the girls Fiona McClellen was fourth and Lael Seale fifth.

The Elementary archers were led by Joshua Seale third in boys 3D and ninth in boys bullseye.

The Golden Hawks are joined today in Solon by Mount Vernon, Cedar Rapids Prairie, Central DeWitt, Delmar and the home Spartans. Action starts at 9a.m. and continues all day Saturday at Solon High School.
