The schedule is set for the 2nd annual River Valley Conference Boys Basketball Shoot Out. The event, Saturday, January 20th features a slate of games that includes the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks against the Bellevue Comets at 2p.m. Also competing that day will be Anamosa against North Cedar starting at 9:30a.m. followed by, Camanche and Durant, Dyersville-Beckman and Tipton, Northeast and West Liberty, Cascade against Wilton, Monticello and Iowa City Regina and Maquoketa and West Branch. All games will be played at Maquoketa High School.

The girls edition of the Shoot Out was held last weekend in Maquoketa. The Golden Hawk girls were beaten by the No. 13 in Class 4A Cardinals on their home floor 73-37.
