Funeral service for 77-year-old Marilyn Bender of Kalona will be Sunday, January 14th at 2:30p.m. at the Kalona Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will be Saturday, January 13th from 4-7p.m. at the Kalona Mennonite Church. A memorial fund has been established for the Kalona Mennonite Church and Kalona First Responders. The Beatty Peterseim Funeral Home is assisting the family.
