The Washington County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday and on the agenda was the proposed amended contract with Tri-City Electric for Courthouse wiring project. County Auditor Dan Widmer gives more information on the contract “Contract, and it kind of correlates with the plans for the new phone system. And at that time, you gentlemen made it clear that you were approving this contract in the amount of fifty-five thousand dollars. So in talking with them as a result of that the desire is that they not begin that portion, the wiring portion until after the new phone system is completed, as well as the remodeling to the courthouse. As a result of that conversation there is an increase from fifty-five thousand to the fifty-seven thousand four sixty five that you see on this revised contract.” The Supervisors approved the amended contract with Tri-City Electric. The wiring project is projected to start at the Courthouse in the fall.
