The Washington Demons returned to the wrestling mat with a 45-30 victory over Mount Pleasant in a road dual last night. Junior Nate Edmonds got things started for Washington by pinning his opponent at 113 pounds, and he was followed by the same from sophomore Caden Greiner at 126 lbs and junior Aaron Boone at 132.
Junior Bryer Billingsly won a 6-2 decision for the Demons at 144, while Lane Schrock came out on top in a 7-1 decision at 150. Fellow senior Chase Greiner picked up a pin at 157, as did freshman Blaine Rees at 175, while freshman Greyson Hartman winning an 8-6 decision at 215 wrapped up a victory that pushed Washington to 3-1 in Southeast Conference duals.
