The Washington County Board of Supervisors heard a presentation and funding request from the Washington County Fair Board at their Tuesday meeting. Fair Board President Kurt Dallmeyer gave the report, “Probably the best news that we’ve talked about when we come to visit is we talk about our program of the County Fair with 4-H, that we are always in the top ten. This year we are number one. That’s our first bullet point, as of, they end their enrollment year at the end of August, but Washington County is the number one enrollment in the state.” The funding request was for the amount of $41,000 and will be decided upon by the board at a later budget meeting.
