Local wrestling teams were in action Thursday night. Sigourney-Keota hosted and split a pair of duals, including a 48-17 victory over Lynnville-Sully. Senior Jake Moore had the only head-to-head win against the Eagles, pinning his opponent at 175 pounds in just 36 seconds.

SK fell to BGM 54-24 but got a couple of individual victories, including junior Brady Clark picking up a pin at 138 lbs and sophomore Jacob Libe doing the same at 150. Sigourney-Keota will return to action this coming Thursday with more duals at HLV.

Lone Tree wrestling fell in a pair of road duals Thursday night, falling 84-0 to Burlington Notre Dame and losing 30-12 to host Pekin. There were no head-to-head victories for the Lions, who will next wrestle this coming Thursday at WACO.
