The Washington County Board of Supervisors heard the annual report and funding request from HACAP at their Tuesday meeting. Kim Guardado with HACAP gave the report, “Recap of services for fiscal year ‘23, HACAP services in Washington County. So, there were seven hundred and twelve households served, which includes one thousand five hundred and seventy-six people. Between October 1st of ‘22 and September 30th of ‘23. So, this equates to five hundred sixty thousand one hundred and forty dollars in assistance, or an average support of seven hundred and eighty-seven dollars.” The funding request was for the amount of $120,000, and will be decided on by the Supervisors at a later budget meeting.
