wind-chill

The KCII listening area was once again hit with a Winter Weather Advisory this week. Beginning Thursday evening into Friday morning, trained weather spotters reported snowfall totals of three inches near Fairfield, two and a half inches in Sigourney, and two inches in Washington. Paired with wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour, poor conditions led to more school and event cancellations and delays across the area.

A Wind Chill Advisory which began Thursday afternoon continues for the entire KCII listening area into Saturday afternoon. Air temperatures are expected to reach lows of 11 degrees below zero with wind chills as low as 30 degrees below zero. For a complete list of cancellations, delays, and other weather-related updates, tune in to KCII or visit KCIIradio.com.
