Sigourney-Keota’s Reanah Utterback can now add conference champion to her impressive list of accomplishments on the wrestling mat this season. The junior won the South Iowa Cedar League championship at 115 pounds last night at the girls’ wrestling conference tournament at Tri-County. Utterback pinned all three opponents that she wrestled to improve to 39-0 and continue a season where she has not been scored on.

SK sophomore Jolie Wehr was also a def facto conference champion as the lone competitor in the field at 105 lbs. Freshman Sadie Clarahan took third place at 125, while senior Lana Thomas finished sixth at 120. Sigourney-Keota finished sixth in the team scoring and will now gear up to wrestle at super regionals Friday in Des Moines and try to qualify for state.
