After several winter weather advisories in the last two weeks, the Keota Community School District is finally able to complete its Homecoming Celebration.

Originally beginning the week of January 8, Keota Schools was able to get just two days of festivities in before the snow and ice canceled classes. Not letting that deter them from fun, students and staff were still able to participate in a few dress-up days and Eagle Olympics.

This week, Keota at long last revealed its Homecoming King and Queen at a Pep Rally Assembly on Monday. They are Evan Vittetoe and Emily Sheetz. Additional members of the court include Cole Kindred, Conner Strand, Aiden McGuire, and Cassie Swantz. Monday also saw the Keota boys and girls basketball teams hit the floor against BGM, both coming away with a victory.

Dress-up days continued yesterday with holiday attire, and today with beach gear, to officially put the wraps on a unique, but memorable 2024 Keota Homecoming.
