The Washington County Farm Service Agency (FSA) announced the results of its County Committee elections this week. Kenny Sieren of Keota was elected to represent Local Administrative Area 2, while Bob Bell of Keota will serve as first alternate.

Each FSA office is required to have a county committee which is elected by local producers. Each committee has between three and eleven members who are farmers, ranchers, or foresters. Each will serve a three-year term of office.

As part of the committee, Sieren will help deliver programs at the county level, and work to serve the needs of area producers. He joins the nearly 7,800 FSA county committee members nationwide.
