The Washington Demons split a pair of wrestling duals while hosting a quadrangular last night for their Senior Night meet. Washington bounced back from falling 58-18 to Williamsburg by defeating Oskaloosa 57-24.

Against the Raiders, junior Aaron Boone continued his dominant season with a pin at 132 pounds, while sophomore Caden Greiner did the same at 138 and senior Chase Greiner also picked up a pin at 157.

Freshman Greyson Hartman got things started for the Demons on the right foot against the Indians by pinning his opponent at 215 lbs, and sophomore Rudy Wolfe did the same in the next bout at 285. Junior Nate Edmonds won by fall at 120, while Boone improved to 33-1 this season by winning a 4-3 decision.

Washington rounded out the scoring with pins from Caden and Chase Greiner; junior Bryer Billingsly at 144; senior Lane Schrock at 150; and freshman Blaine Rees at 175. The Demons will be back in action this weekend when they wrestle at the Southeast Iowa Classic in Fairfield.
