Last week, Plant-A Insights Group announced its Top 250 Regional Banks and Credit Unions In America for 2024. Making the list this year was Community 1st Credit Union.

More than 9,000 financial institutions across the United States were analyzed for this recognition, with Community 1st Credit Union receiving a five-star rating on a five-star scale. This was just one of three credit unions in Iowa to receive such a rating. In a press release from the company, President and CEO Greg Hanshaw stated that the honor “reflects the dedication to [their] strong and empowered team.” Community 1st Credit Union has more than one dozen locations in Iowa, including Washington, Fairfield, and Mt. Pleasant.
