Iowa District 46 Senator Dawn Driscoll announced her plans to run for re-election earlier this month. 

Driscoll was first elected to the Iowa Senate in 2020, then re-elected in 2022. Highlights of her time in the legislature include being involved with property tax reform, working to pass legislation to increase penalties for sexual exploitation of minors, and legislation to address the health care provider shortage. Driscoll is the chair of the Senate Agriculture Committee, serves on the Local Government, Natural Resources and Environment, State Government, Ways and Means, and Workforce committees. 

Senator Driscoll is running for a four-year term in 2024. District 46 includes all of Iowa and Washington counties plus a portion of Johnson County.
