The Washington City Council met on Tuesday for the first budget workshop for fiscal year 2025. City Administrator Deanna McCusker gave an overview of the workshop, “Tonight we will just do an overview of the budget and get some, view things for each department, and there may be some questions, there may be some things that I’m going to ask you guys your opinions on.” The second budget workshop will be held after the regular council meeting next Tuesday. City budgets must be filed by April 30 for the upcoming fiscal year that runs from July 1 to June 30th.
