A Mt. Pleasant man was charged with multiple felonies in the early morning hours of February 1. 

At approximately 5:35 a.m. on Thursday, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received two E-911 calls reporting a burglary. A subsequent investigation determined that 36-year-old Jonathan Bowers attempted to enter one neighbor’s residence and forcibly entered another’s.

Bowers was arrested and charged with burglary in the second degree, a class C felony, attempted burglary in the second degree, a class D felony, criminal mischief in the second degree, a class D felony, and criminal mischief in the fifth degree, a simple misdemeanor.
