4-H in Washington County cannot be what it is today without the many different types of volunteers. Among them is the 4-H Youth Committee. This 18-member adult group meets monthly to review and plan 4-H and youth events for the county. This group is invaluable to the 4-H program as they are often the key volunteers at events. They also evaluate the rule book, support leaders, recruit new members, and create partnerships with businesses in the community. New members started their term at this year’s January meeting. Current 4-H Youth Committee members include Molly Doorenbos, Lisa Clark, Alisha Kelley, Ashley Conrad, Nicole Bruty, Shannon Younge, Karen Dennler, Diane Rinner, Bill Ebert, Scott Bartholomew, Chris Hahn, Dan Northup, Erin Brenneman, Lindsay Crawford, Sydney Black, Jason Anderson, and Theresa Hora.
