The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk archers turned a tournament at South Tama into a business trip Saturday, filling up the trophy case with both individual and team titles.

The High School Hawks won the team 3D championship with their score of 1645, topping Grandview Christian’s 1513. The Hawks swept the individual titles with Elijah Statler firing a 287 with 20 tens for the boys championship and girls gold going to Sophia Puttmann with her 275 and 15 tens. Other Golden Hawk girls top tens included Allie Whetstine third, Brynn Northup fourth, Averi Janecek fifth and Ava Miller tenth. For the boys, Landon Kuenster was third, Johnathon Pickard fourth, and Milo Sieren seventh. In bullseye the Hawks were team runners-up with a 3274, behind Bondurant-Farrar’s 3285. Brynn Northup won the girls championship with a 283 that included 16 tens. Other top ten Golden Hawk girls included Averi Janecek runner-up, Allie Whetstine ninth and Kyla Karnes 10th. For the boys, Landon Kuenster was third with a 282 and 14 tens, followed by Johnathon Pickard seventh, Elijah Statler eighth and Milo Sieren 10th.

The Middle School Hawks swept the team championships, winning bullseye gold with a 3072, ahead of South Tama’s 3000. Lael Seale was girls runner-up firing a 280 with 13 tens. Other top ten Mid-Prairie girls included, Fiona McClellen fourth. Levi Luers was boys runner-up with a 268 and 10 tens. Other top ten boys included Noah Coblentz third, Kylar Kiefer fifth, Easton Gorsch ninth and Preston Ford 10th. In 3D, Mid-Prairie’s winning score was 1574, ahead of Grandview Christian’s 1519. Lael Seale was girl’s runner-up with a 280 and 16 tens. Nickolas Kelley went runner-up for the boys with a 266 and 10 tens. Other Golden Hawk girls top tens included Kylee Berry fifth, Fiona McClellen sixth, and Lara Brenneman seventh. For the boys, Noah Coblentz was fourth, Preston Ford fifth, and Kylar Kiefer sixth.

In elementary bullseye, a pair of third place finishes paced the Golden Hawk boys and girls with Joshua Seale in third at 246 and eight tens along with Marin Northup at 204 and one ten. Other Mid-Prairie boys top tens included Bryce Miller sixth, Matthew Adair seventh, Adric McClellen eighth, and Ethan Bachman ninth. For the girls, Blair Northup was fourth, Claire O’Connor fifth, and Brooklynn Liska sixth. In elementary 3D, Claire O’Connor won girls gold with a 186 and three tens. Top boys finish was Joshua Seale runner-up with a 248 and five tens. Brooklynn Liska was girls runner-up. Adric McClellen was fifth for the boys.
