The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team finishes the regular season tonight with a home date against the West Branch Bears. Mid-Prairie is 11-8 on the year, 6-5 in the River Valley Conference after a 65-55 win at Fairfield Tuesday where Ace Peck led the way with 14 points. On the season, the Hawks score 63 points per game and give up 61, shooting 43% from the field, 36% from three and 66% at the line with 28 boards, 14 assists, six steals and 15 turnovers per game. Individual leaders include, Bryce Henry at 14 points per night, Dylan Henry at six boards per game and Brady Weber with five helpers and two steals per night.

West Branch is 15-6 on the season, 10-1 in the RVC and can lock up the South Division title with a win tonight. The Bears were winners Tuesday at home against Tipton 55-43. On the season, West Branch scores 63 points per game and gives up 53, shooting 47% from the floor, 39% from three and 65% at the line with 27 boards, 13 assists, seven steals and nine turnovers per game. Individually, Holden Arnaman has 24 points, five assists and two steals per game, Reese Trepanier adds nine boards. These teams met on December 8th with West Branch winning 83-46 behind 31 points from Arnaman, Mid-Prairie got 10 from Bryce Henry. The Bears have won three straight in the series.
