The Washington City Council held a budget meeting on Tuesday and heard from some partner organizations. The Washington Chamber of Commerce gave a presentation of their last year. Michelle Redlinger, Executive Director gave the presentation, “I attended a tourism lobbying night up at the Capitol a few weeks ago, and just one of the things that we are really cognizant of is just trying to share the story of Washington and making sure that we are relevant when they are considering offering grants.” The Chamber is requesting $24,000 from the City, which has been the annual request for the past few years.
