On the agenda for the Washington City Council meeting for Tuesday evening beginning at 6 pm is the discussion and consideration to accept the resignation of Mayor Jaron Rosien. At their January 16th  meeting, discussions were had on the mayoral status. There was a consensus amongst the Council to send a letter asking for Rosien’s resignation. After accepting the resignation is, another item of business to discuss holding a Special Election for the vacant position. The meeting will be held at the City Council Chambers in Washington City Hall.
