A strong second half helped the WACO Warriors put together a solid girls’ basketball season, and four players who led the way have been named all-conference in the North division of the Southeast Iowa Super Conference.
That includes senior Emma Wagler making the first team. WACO’s leader in scoring and rebounding this season averaged over 12 points and 12 rebounds per game, but she also impacted the game on defense by putting up nearly three-and-a-half steals per contest.
Second-team honors go to freshman Brenna Graber, who posted nearly 9.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, two assists and 2.5 steals a game in her debut season and averaged double-figure scoring over the final five games. Honorable mentions go to senior Naomi Egli and junior Ella Huisenga, who were key pieces in helping the Warriors go 13-10.
