Wednesday, Cadillac XBC in Waterloo played host to the Iowa High School Athletic Association Class 1A Individual State Bowling Tournament. In the 32-man field, Sigourney-Keota Sophomore Wells Clark finished 30th with his score of 518 in a three game series. His scores included a 150 in game one, 168 in game two and his best of the day 200 in his third and final game.

The top eight series scores advanced through the preliminary round into quarterfinal action and traditional bracket play. Vann Lessig of Vinton-Shellsburg claimed the individual state title, beating Noah White of Charles City in the finals 262-212.
