The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team put together a high-flying offensive season, ranking as one of the most potent groups in Class 2A. Mid-Prairie made 211 three point goals as a team this year, second most in Class 2A, averaging 10 per game, also the second highest total. Their 35.5% rate from downtown was seventh best in Class 2A. From deep, junior Ace Peck led the team with 74 made threes, the fourth highest total in 2A basketball. His 179 attempts were ninth most in the state, working out to a 41.3% mark from deep, the third highest for those with at least 150 attempts.
Sophomore Bryce Henry had the sixth highest percentage from the charity stripe this year for 2A shooters, locking in at 87.5%. His 21 of 24 from the line was the third best clip for those who attempted at least 20 free throws.
Junior guard Brady Weber was one of the top facilitators in the state. His 125 assists were the eighth highest total in 2A.
Mid-Prairie ended their season with a 12-10 overall record.
