The Washington County Board of Supervisors discussed a Wind Turbine Ordinance, Road Use Agreement, and Decommissioning Plan at their Tuesday meeting. Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius gives more information on the plans, “Some things put together, so they are really just putting them out there for the first time for people to see and look at. The road use agreement is kind of a collaboration of multiple counties, looking at what they have done for road use agreements. And the decommissioning plan language, looked at a handful, the bulk of that comes from what’s in Johnson county’s ordinance right now for their decommissioning plan.”  The plans will be on the next Board of Supervisors meeting to discuss and review.
