Washington Demon wrestling had another strong season, especially inside the Southeast Conference, where they went 4-1 in duals and finished second in the league behind only Fort Madison. As a reward for their efforts, six Washington wrestlers have earned all-conference honors.

That group includes junior Aaron Boone, the Demons’ lone state qualifier who went on to finish fourth in Class 2A at 132 pounds. Boone had an individual record of 46-3 this season on his way to a second straight state medal.

Senior Chase Greiner joins Boone as a first-team selection at 165 lbs. Greiner picked up his 100th career win in his final season and went 38-7 overall. Younger brother Caden Greiner also makes the first team at 138 after a 35-win season.

Junior Nate Edmonds is a second-team all-conference wrestler for Washington at 120 lbs after going 25-20. Lane Schrock finishes up his career by going 22-12 at 150 and also makes the second team, as does freshman Blaine Rees at 175 after a debut season with a 32-19 record.

Boone, Edmonds, Schrock and Chase Greiner also earn academic all-conference honors in the Southeast Conference for the Demons, as does sophomore teammate Jude Carter.
