A community favorite returns to Mid-Prairie this week with the annual Pops & Pie Concert presented by the Golden Hawk choral department. This year’s event begins at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, February 29.

Soloists and small groups kick off the concert, performing everything from Frank Sinatra, to selections from popular musicals Waitress and Les Mis, and even some NSYNC. They are to be followed by Mid-Prairie’s Lyrica and Mixed Choir, who will begin presenting their larger choral works at 8 p.m.

Admission for the Mid-Prairie Pops & Pie Concert is two dollars for adults and free for all students. Of course, there will be pie available for anyone who attends. Funds received from the event will go towards the Mid-Prairie auditorium fund.
