The National Archery in the Schools Iowa State Bullseye and 3D Archery Championships are scheduled for March 1st through the 3rd at the Jacobson Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines.

A total of 68 archers representing three Washington schools will try to bring home top honors for the Demons from this year’s 3D and bullseye shooting competitions. Fifty members of the Golden Hawk Archery Club have qualified for the state meet.  You can find a full list of archers with this news story at KCIIradio.com. 

Washington High School archers will get their first chance to compete with the 3D and Bullseye events and will be represented by Tyler Alderton, Gabrielle Andrew, Mark Chenoweth, Johannah Halvorson, Emma Helfrich, Blaine Hodson, Ethen Hotchkiss, Hannah Lipski, Avery Marner, Ethan Mesch, Jace Sanders, Blake Sheetz, Lily Brown, Brayden Clough, Madison Conway, Brook Feliciano, Chance Haskins, Mason Meserole, Landon Messer, Kyann Miller, Layne Moore, Isabelle Reed, Ayden Vargas and Kamryn Williams. 

Washington Middle School archers competing in the 3D and bullseye  tournaments are, Emma Alderton, Hunter Barnes, Grant Berdo, Jace Helfrich, Lillith Hernandez, Zach Hotchkiss, Mason Pierce, Charlee Read, Braxton Rich, Tate Sheetz, Jordan Thorius, Sophie Wittmayer, 

Itzell Calixto, Isaiah Halvorson, Tristen Heisdorffer, Caden Higdon, Aryanna Jones, Alex McFarland, Christopher Richardson, Mason Schneider, Kenzie Thomas, Jaxon Tinnes, Caleb Wise and Kaelyn Wullner.

Washington archery will also be represented at the state competition by Lincoln Elementary students. That group that includes Kooper Barnes, Aly Black, Austin Boone, Jack Charlier, Lawson DeWolf, Wyatt Dugger, Carter Higdon, Logan Hotchkiss, Krew Liska, Lawson Love, Will Marsden, Kaylee McFarland, Louis Meija, Addyson Neer, Aaliyah Palacios, Jayse Thorius, Kenzie Vargas, Dante Witham and Gabriel and Grayson Frost. 

Fifty members of the Golden Hawk Archery Club have qualified for the state meet. Representing Mid-Prairie High School for bullseye and 3D will be Tate Bombei, Averi Janecek, Kyla Karnes, Landon Kuenster, Ava Miller, Morgyn Nafziger, Brynn Northup, Blake Peck, Johnathon Pickard, Sophia Puttmann, Milo Sieren, Elijah Statler, and Allie Whetstine. High School Hawks competing in the bullseye contest only include Rylee Cady, Eli Conrad, Jacob Debler, Isabelle Frederick, Stella Janecek, Jaiden Lara, Brylee Miller, Madelyn Sieren, Harlee West, Madison Witthoft and Cailtyn Yoder.

Mid-Prairie Middle Schoolers competing in both bullseye and 3D include Lara Brenneman, Mya Brenneman, Noah Coblentz, Preston Ford, Nickolas Kelley, Kylar Kiefer, Fiona McClellen, Beckett Miller, Morgan Northup, Nickolas Peck, Braxton Ropp, Joshua Seale, Lael Seale and Joel Sellers. Middle School Hawks competing in the bullseye contest only include Landon Allen, Alex Conrad, Ty Gearhart, Easton Gorsch, Madilynn Liska, Gavin Luers, Levi Luers, Nolan Mohling, Greyson Naraine, Blair Northup, Skylar Swift and Cole Troyer.
