The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls basketball team owned the interior during the recently completed season. The Golden Hawk girls were fifth in Class 3A with 82 blocked shots as a team, 26 of those coming from team leading junior Brylee Gearhart.

The Hawks pulled down 23 defensive rebounds per game this year, seventh best in 3A and a total of 505 rebounds on the season ninth most. Their 36 boards per game were 10th best in 3A. The Hawks were led on the glass by junior Callie Huber with  nine boards per game.

Mid-Prairie shot 38.7% as a team from the floor, the 10th best mark in Class 3A and were led by Huber’s 58.4% rate, fifth best in 3A.

The Golden Hawks ended the season with an 11-11 overall record.
