The Washington Water Sharks will be wrapping up their swimming season by competing at this year’s Iowa YMCA State Championship meet this weekend in Marshalltown. The Water Sharks represent the YMCA of Washington County and will have 14 swimmers taking part in various races.

Water Sharks at state include Logan Westphal, Zach Baker, Dalton Rich, Kate Flannery, Clyde Johnson, Riley Gordinier, Teague Meyer, Aubrey Pickens, Samantha Wunderlich, Claire Wubbena, Makenzie and David Messer and Tyson and Kaden Huber. The boys will get their races underway Saturday morning starting at 10:15, while the girls will start at the same time Sunday.
