KCII News was able to speak with U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley about his thoughts on the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to litigate former President Trump’s claim to Presidential Immunity, “I think that making the decision was the right thing to do, because I think we need to have answers to these things instead of having speculation about what a president is responsible for or not responsible for. And then in the final analysis, you can’t really comment until they make their decision.” The U.S. Supreme Court has set April 25 as the date it will hear Donald Trump’s claim of presidential immunity from prosecution on charges related to his efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss – the last day of oral arguments of its current term.
