The Hillcrest Academy Raven girls basketball team logged numbers this season among the best in program history.
Junior Malia Yoder posted 73 steals this year, fourth most in school history for a single season. Angela Bock holds the all-time record with 131 in 1997-98. This took Yoder’s career total to 152 takeaways, eighth most in program history. Bock holds the all-time record with 378. Yoder’s 54 assists during the most recent season gives her 128 for her career, putting her sixth in Hillcrest history. Bock’s 377 are most.
Junior Delaney Shaw pulled in 180 rebounds this season, the sixth highest total for a single year ever for a Raven. Rachel Smith’s 1994-95 with 254 boards is the program standard.
Sophomore Claire Withrow went to work on the record books from downtown. Her 66 made three’s this year are second most for a season, behind only Suzanna Yoder’s 75 from 2018-19. Withrow’s 104 three-balls for her career are fourth all-time for a Raven, trailing Angela Bock’s 219.
Hillcrest ended the season with a 6-15 overall record.
