Washington County 4-H has opened registration for the county favorite, regional 4-H Jr Camp. It is set to be a two-day and one-night camp held at Crooked Creek Camp outside Washington June 4-5. Current 4-H members in 4th-6th grade are invited to register for this experience. This camp is hosted by Region 19 counties, including Washington, Johnson, Keokuk, and Iowa. The final registration cost is $135. To accommodate interest in Jr Camp, there will be a lottery drawing from those registered to fill the limited spots. The drawing will be on May 2, so summer plans can move forward. All 4-H juniors will have an equal opportunity to register online until May 1 with no money down until after the lottery drawing. You can find a link to register with this news story at KCIIradio.com.
