WACO students are set to perform their spring play, with opening night later today.
On Saturday, March 23 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 24 at 2 p.m. the Warriors will present Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Jersey Lily. The well-known sleuth tries to solve a blackmail case in this production, which features both junior high and high school cast members.
One of those cast members, junior Tanner Egli, encourages all to attend. “WACO is a really small school so that offers a really unique opportunity to see how such a small school can put on a production. We’ve got a lower budget [and] we’ve got a smaller pool to pull from for actors, not to say that those are bad things at all. It brings a layer of uniqueness that you don’t get to see other places.”
Performances will be held in the WACO Gymnasium. Tickets will be available at the door for five dollars.
