The Lone Tree and Winfield-Mt. Union school districts announced schedule changes last week as a result of the inclement weather in January.
To make up for the snow days, the Lone Tree Community School District will have class on Friday, May 3, a day that was originally scheduled as a teacher in-service day. The last day of school, which was going to be May 23, will now be Friday, May 24. Students will be dismissed at 1 p.m.
With more hours to make up, the Winfield-Mt. Union Schools are altering several early-out Wednesdays. On April 3 and 17 and May 1, 8, 15, and 22 there will be no early outs and students will be dismissed at 3:10 p.m. The last day of school for the Winfield-Mt. Union Community School District will still be Friday, May 24.
With questions, contact either the Lone Tree or WMU district office.
