While many area schools celebrated their respective spring break earlier this month, the Keota and Sigourney districts will each begin their extended break later this week.

The Sigourney Community School District will have no school on Thursday, March 28 as it is a teacher comp day. Keota Schools meanwhile will dismiss students at 2:15 on Thursday for parent/teacher conferences. Both schools are off for Good Friday, as well as Monday, April 1. Keota and Sigourney students along with Keota staff will not have school Tuesday, April 2, while Sigourney staff have professional development.

Both Sigourney and Keota Schools will resume classes on Wednesday, April 3.
