The Greater Washington Business Partnership Annual Dinner was held on Monday evening. During the event, Washington Chamber of Commerce Board Member Greta Clemmons presented the 2023 Citizen of the Year Award, “I’m excited to announce this year’s Washington Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year award; I’m honored to introduce this year’s winner, Karisa Mellinger.” There were eleven nominations for Citizen of the Year. To be nominated, the individual had to display leadership, initiative, creativity, and dedication to their cause and the overall betterment of the community.
